Indtec Corporation began in Marina, California in 1991​. Founded by a PCB design engineer, along with 5 employees, the company began serving local customers in the industrial measurement and controls businesses.​ In 1996, Indtec acquired customers in the semiconductor fabrication industry.

Today, Indtec employs more than 40 people and produces over 120,000 circuit boards per year, and continues to grow. The company was recently acquired by a two-member partnership, working with the founder, toward a shared goal of expanding the business and building capabilities.
